You should visit the nearest Turkish Consulate or Embassy in your city and submit your application. Turkish Consulate or Embassy accepts and evaluates the applications. You have to collect the required documents and submit your application in person.

It is in your responsbility to obtain a visa before your arrival.

Required Document List

You will need to complete and sign a visa application form, which is usually available on the Turkish consulate or embassy’s website.

You may find a draft form on this link.

Ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Turkey. It should also have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.

A letter from the Turkish host organization or the educational institution in Turkey that confirms your internship placement or acceptance. This letter should include details about the internship, such as its duration and purpose.

Proof of health insurance coverage valid in Turkey for the duration of your stay. Some consulates may require specific insurance documents.

Must have been taken within the last 6 months, against a white background and biometric. Typically, you’ll need two recent passport-sized photos that meet the specifications outlined by the Turkish consulate.

Depending on the consulate’s requirements, you might need to provide a criminal record check or a certificate of good conduct from your home country.

A letter or certificate from your home institution confirming your enrollment as a student.

Documents demonstrating your financial ability to cover your expenses during your stay in Turkey. This could include bank statements, scholarship letters, or financial guarantee letters.

A copy of your round-trip flight reservation or itinerary.

Payment of the visa application fee, which may vary depending on your nationality and the type of visa.

Information about where you will stay during your internship in Turkey. This could be a hotel reservation, a letter of invitation from your host organization indicating your accommodation arrangements, or a rental agreement.

A letter explaining the purpose of your internship and why it is essential for your academic or career goals.
